First of many! Go Anousheh!

Anousheh Ansari came back safely today. She hopes that her effort of adventuring into space would encourage people, especially girls to think outside the limits their cultures and societies have structured around their original aspirations. Yes, I agree. I disagree with critiques who attribute the freedom to think (and more importantly to think differently) to the ability to pay a handsome sum of money. What people often forget is that when you can spare 20 million, its not the money that is important, its the time that is important. Welcome back Anousheh, hope you re-kindle the strength to question limits in all men and women who are in need to this inspiration!

It was awesome talking to Anousheh in orbit!! :-D

Role Models

I am in Spain - in Valencia. Gorgeous, gorgeous city! I am at the Space Generation Congress, its great to meet some friendly faces again and good to make new faces friends. We are discovering different parts of the town and went out to dinner in a huge group at a tapas place.

Sat with Will M, Agniszka, Alex and Ulf, I am discussing Role Models - as Ulf mentions that if there are any decisions to be made in life, he would just ask to himself as to what his role model would do? Neat idea, thats what role models are for. So, I inquire, who is his role model - James Bond! lol
I almost doubled up laughing, as the obvious situation that James Bond would ever have to engage his brain is probably best left till this blog is 18 certified!

Too funny. Here's Ulf living it up as his role model! :-D
