Its been a good two days - a good easter!

We had a great relaxed day on good friday... the first time we got out of the house was about 9 o'clock: meal after meal - its a tough life to keep time in! We went out and I introduced Chris to a couple of drinking establishments, we came back home and watched some telly!

On saturday, it was Matteo's wife Larissa's birthday BBQ (Happy B'day Lary!) - Some gorgeous food along with ice cream! (I am so changed with that rice icecream - oh yum) I also was convinced that a whole bowl of whipped cream was a special icecream : had 2 full cups of it with some strawberries in syrup till I realized that maybe... it ... was... just... cream. erm, nevermind!

Again, yet another day when you have a meal after another! From BBQ food, we had a real upgrade. We met up with Jimmy and Catherine again - but this time to break LENT! (WOOHOO) at the ISU Kebab place! and we went to watch a movie - called the Inside man. Really good movie - I recommend it.

The next day, Chris is meant to be leaving :-( . We pack some supplies of food and spare clothing and head off to Baden Baden to the thermal spas before his flight. Hmmmm...so relaxing, so good! A glad change of pace - the bubbles really did me good. Awesome!

It was lovely to see Chris and I was indeed sad to see him go... hopefully, I ll see him soon. I came back with Jimmy and Catherine to Strasbourg - we got lost on the way, poor souls - I just confused them! (We took one wrong turn and ended up in a parallel universe- I swear, all apartments around my concrete block look the same!) lol

Jimmy is v worried about his placement - I hope it sorts out for him soon. I am worried for both of them.
